Members of the boxfish family, these fish maneuver in a unique and comical manner and are commonly seen on Caribbean coral reefs. The young resemble polka dotted peas, very tiny and round with almost invisible fins and tails. The original painting is 8"x10". This is a limited edition of 100 prints.
I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
