This painting is based on photos I took of the moon jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They are a non-stinging variety that I have also encountered on many dives. The original painting is 22"x30". This is a limited edition of 250 prints.

I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
