Artist's Description

A woman and her two children were walking on the beach on St. Jo's Island just off of Port Aransas, Texas. She was "herding" a ghost crab with a stick, and it struck me as really funny, the crab was so comical with its backward walk and surprised look. The original painting is 22"x30". This is a limited edition of 100 prints.

About Pauline Walsh Jacobson

Pauline Walsh Jacobson

I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
