Artist's Description
Caribbean Reef Squid are most often seen in schools near the water's surface. When threatened, their colors become very vibrant, and they change colors in waves. The original painting is 22"x30". This is a limited edition of 250 prints.
About Pauline Walsh Jacobson
I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
