Hawksnest Bay is located in the Virgin Islands National Park on the north shore of the island of St. John in the U. S. Virgin Islands. Gibney Beach, lined with coconut palms is in the background.
I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
