This beach scene was taken on Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Grand Turk is a popular scuba diving destination and cruise ship port of call. This image was captured with a Nikon 35mm SLR camera using Kodak negative film (inventory no. gtr11824)

I specialize in underwater photography, and use my photos as inspiration for my marine life paintings. I grew up on the Texas coast, and love the ocean and beach. After receiving a bachelors degree in fine art from Lamar University, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed a long career in graphic design, drafting, cartography and geographic information systems. I am retired now and my husband, Kent and I live in Delray Beach Florida where I continue to scuba dive and photograph marine life.
